Top Manipuri rebel leader in NIA custody

Meghen comes from the royal family of the erstwhile princely state of Manipur.

United National Liberation Front (UNLF) chairman R K Meghen,alias Sana Yaima,who was remanded in 13 days custody of the NIA,has been flown to Delhi for interrogation.

While Meghen,65,was “arrested” in Motihari in Bihar on November 29,his wife filed a petition in the Gauhati HC last month seeking information about his whereabouts. Meghen comes from the royal family of the erstwhile princely state of Manipur.
