TN Fisheries College and Research Inst student tops ICAR JRF exam

Sathya Prakash ranked first while seven other students of the college also qualified for the fellowship.

A student of the Fisheries College and Research Institute here has emerged the topper in the all-India competitive entrance examination for the prestigious Indian council of Agriculture Research’s Junior Research Fellowship.

Sathya Prakash ranked first while seven other students of the college also qualified for the fellowship for which students from 18 fisheries college took the exam on April 15,a release from the college said here today.

ICAR grants the JRF to around 475 students every year for pursuing post-graduation.
