Tata to introduce BS IV variant of Indica soon

Tata Motors said it would soon introduce the BS IV variant of its popular hatchback Indica.

Auto major Tata Motors said it would soon introduce the BS IV variant of its popular hatchback Indica.

Claiming the new variant would become the company’s “most fuel efficient” car,Tata Motors in a statement said the new engine in the Indica packs a 32 per cent increase in power,alongwith a 46 per cent improvement in fuel efficiency.

The engine revs up to 70 PS power at 4,000 RPM and delivers 140 Nm torque to make it more peppy and responsive,it said.

The New Indica would also offer fresh exterior and interior looks and features,the statement added.

Tata Motors launched the Indica V2 Turbomax with BS IV compliant engine in August,2010.
