Sony Corp said on Monday it will sell its division in charge of digital photo printers for professional use to Dai Nippon Printing. The sale,to be completed by April 1,is part of Sony's efforts to narrow its strategic focus, the company said in a statement. While hiving off its instant photo kiosk and ID photo printer accounts,Sony will continue to manufacture printers and run the medical-use printing business, the company said. A Sony spokesman declined to disclose the value of the deal. He said the business currently employed about 70 people worldwide, some of whom would likely be transferred to Dai Nippon.
