Silver futures price gain 0.84% on higher global trend

Silver jumped 1.7 per cent to USD 19.43 an ounce in Singapore.

Silver traded higher by 0.84 per cent to Rs 40,726 per kg in futures market today as speculators enlarged their positions,taking positive cues from overseas markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange,silver for delivery in September rose by Rs 338,or 0.84 per cent,to Rs 40,726 per kg in business turnover of 3,639 lots.

Likewise,the white metal for delivery in December gained Rs 340,or 0.83 per cent,to Rs 41,450 per kg in 61 lots.

Market analysts said speculators enlarged their positions,taking a positive cues from overseas market mainly pushed up silver prices at futures trade.

Meanwhile,silver jumped 1.7 per cent to USD 19.43 an ounce in Singapore.
