Actor Shiney Ahuja was detained by the police late on Sunday following a complaint from a maid who works in his Oshiwara residence that he had raped her. Oshiwara police said he was called for questioning after his domestic help alleged he had raped her in the afternoon,when they were alone in the house. The maid has alleged the actor had raped her. We have registered an FIR and an inquiry is on, said ACP Dilip Suryavanshi. Police sources said the actor was detained well past midnight and that no conclusion had been reached as medical tests to confirm rape were yet to be conducted.
