Satyam ranked 8th best company for training

Satyam has been recognised as one of the 10 best cos for training and learning programmes.

Notwithstanding the controversy surrounding the fraud-hit Satyam Computers,the IT company on Wednesday said it has been recognised as one of the 10 best organisations across the globe for training and learning programmes.

In a newsletter to its employees,Satyam said it has been ranked 8th on the Training Magazine’s list of the world’s top 125 organisations for outstanding training and learning programmes.

“Satyam,this year,has been ranked 8th in the Training Top 125 list of learning organisations,improving its position from the 11th last year,” the newsletter added.

An extremely prestigious listing,the Training Top 125 recognises best learning organisations across the world,and of the over 1,000 companies that apply,only 125 make it to the list.

The companies are judged on elements such as corporate universities,evaluation procedures and internal best practices.
