Saria turned weak with prices falling by Rs 500 per tonne on the local steel market today on reduced offtake by stockists due to sluggish demand from constructions unit.
Traders said reduced offtake by stockists following sluggish demand from construction units mainly kept pressure on saria prices.
In the saria section,Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 500 each to Rs 52,600,Rs 51,500 and Rs 50,300,while saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 50,900 per tonne,respectively.
