Sara Khan,who plays Alka in Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein is all set to do a Katrina Kaif from Raajneeti.
Saras character who comes back to India from the US to meet her parents gets involved in rural politics. Talking about this new development,she says,I actually get dragged into politics. Seeing the pitiful things that are going around me,like a couple killed by their own family members because of caste differences,makes me raise my voice. Also,there is a candle march,which I organise.
The forthcoming promos will have her portrayed as a politician. When asked about the resemblance to Katrinas character from Raajneeti,Sara clarifies that it is actually inspired by a Marathi film,Gharabaher,made by Sanjay Surkar who is also the co-producer of this serial aired on Star One.
