Sapient announced the appointment of Anand Bhaskar as Vice President,People Success for India. Bhaskar,who joins Sapients India leadership team,will be responsible for leading Sapients people and organizational strategy across the companys three offices in India,which represent more than half of the companys global workforce. Bhaskars appointment comes during a period of remarkable growth at Sapient,driven by increased demand for the companys unique marketing and technology service offerings across all business segments including Sapient Global Markets and SapientNitro. The company experienced 36% year-over-year revenue growth in the second quarter 2010 and recently announced an expansion of its facility space in Bangalore and plans to nearly double the number of people working there by years end.
