Salman Khan steps forward to lend a helping hand for UTV Spotboys Chillar Party. Co-directed by Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari,the film is a fun kids flick and is set to release on July 8. Chillar Party,which is being produced by Ronnie Screwwala,will now have Salman Khan as its co-producer. Talking about the association,Bahl said,My team and I decided to screen the film for Salman as I was sure that he would like it. He came with his brother Sohail for the screening. Salman liked the film so much that he decided to show his support for it. Vikas thought that since there are no stars in the cast,the involvement of Salman in the project would boost the film. Since the actor had already shown interest in it,Bahl personally approached the actor to join the film as a co-producer. Confirms Bahl,I went up to him with this idea. And he was happy to take this opportunity. Since the films shoot is over,the director felt that Salman will now also have to work towards releasing the film. He said,The film is ready and the next big thing after this is to release the film. We are hoping,now that Salman is the part of the film,that he will attract the people to watch the film.
