Rolls Royce to sell 60 units of Ghost in 2010

British luxury car-maker,Rolls-Royce,launched its latest premium car-Ghost-here and said it hopes to sell around 60 units in the country during 2010,a top company official said.

“India is going to be a key market for Ghost and we expect to sell 50-60 units of Ghost in 2010,” Rolls-Royce Motor Car’s General Manager (South and East Asia-Pacific) Brenda Pek,told reporters.

Booking for the new car has already begun and deliveries would start in the first quarter of 2010,she said.

Ghost has been prized at Rs 2.5-crore,Pek said,adding,”the cost will vary according to the level of personalisation a customer wants.”

The company,which re-entered the Indian market in 2005 after a gap of nearly 50-years,presently sells cars from the Phantom family through its two dealers in Mumbai and Delhi.

The company is also aiming an overall sales 75 units in 2010 in the country,she said.
