Received Irda nod for reinsurance broking: Mahindra Finance

Mahindra Insurance Brokers (MIBL) is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services.

Mahindra Finance today said it has received approval of insurance watchdog Irda for entering reinsurance broking business.

Mahindra Insurance Brokers (MIBL),a 100 per cent subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services,has received Irda nod for the reinsurance broking business,a statement issued here this evening said.

MIBL has been in direct broking business since May 2004 and has now been granted the Composite Broking License,which enables it to undertake reinsurance broking as well,it added.
