The BJP on Tuesday hit out at Congress leader Digvijaya Singh for his remarks seeking to caution the Opposition from attacking the family members of political rivals. The BJP sought to suggest that the issue is not of attacking the family members of political rivals,but that of probity. The issue is not that you accuse somebodys relative or an individual. It is about whether you talk about corruption or not, said Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley. I am also somebodys relative. If I am accused of something,are people not entitled to talk about it? People in public life are in a situation where they should conduct themselves properly. People who are politically connected must be extra careful about their transactions, Jaitley reasoned.
