Pearson launches its online book store

Pearson Education India is pleased to announce the launch of its first 'Online Bookstore' through its online retail partner,VRVBookshop.

Pearson Education India is pleased to announce the launch of its first ‘Online Bookstore’ through its online retail partner,VRVBookshop.

The online bookstore will carry the complete catalogue of all Pearson Education India’s books,including imprints like Addison Wesley,Longman,Prentice Hall,QUE,SAMS,Wharton School Publishing,Peachpit and more.

It will offer free shipping on all Pearson Education books,anywhere in India.

This online bookstore will focus on students and faculty in the school,higher education,professional as well as competitive exam segments,an area normally ignored by most multi-brand online shops. It will also highlight the latest launches and special bargain offers on Pearson Education books.

Sangeeta Mehra,COO of VRVBookshop said “With internet penetration growing,Indian online retail is increasing at an astounding rate. Books remain one of the highest purchased items online.”

VRVBookshop will have a dedicated customer service desk to take care of queries and to assist customers in ordering. Users will be able to pay via multiple modes like debit or credit card and internet banking. All transactions made on VRVBookshop will be secured through a VeriSign secured Payment Gateway.
