Family members of five victims of Pathribal fake encounter case have decided to appear before the Army officer who has been assigned to record the Summary of Evidence in the case. On Saturday,the officer was shifted to Awantipore from Jammu after victims family members declined to record statements citing security reasons. The process will begin on Tuesday. Earlier,we declined to visit Jammu for various reasons including security. After the trial officer was moved to Awantipore in south Kashmir we have decided to go, said Abdul Rashid Khan. His father,Juma Khan,was among the five killed in the fake encounter. From our family three members will appear before the officer, he said.
