Not considering regularisation of illegal colonies: Uttar Pradesh govt

Uttar Pradesh government today said that it was not considering the regularisation of illegal colonies already developed by builders using private land.

Uttar Pradesh government today said that it was not considering the regularisation of illegal colonies already developed by builders using private land.

“We are not considering any policy to regularise colonies illegally developed by builders without providing sewer,water,electricity and other facilities. It will be difficult to check activities of land mafias,if such regularisation is done,” Parliamentary affairs Minister Mohammad Azam Khan said.

Khan was replying to a question raised by BJP member Satish Mahana in Vidhan Sabha here.

He said that those who purchased cheap plots should think why it was made available to them on such rates.

On being pointed out that master plan prepared for development of different cities of the state had a number of flaws,the minister assured the House that it would be looked into.
