No plans to divest stake in BHEL: Govt

The government ruled outs any immediate plan to disinvest its stake in power equipment maker BHEL.

“There is no question right now,” Heavy Industries Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said when asked if there will be disinvestment in BHEL.

He said the government owns 67 per cent stake in BHEL and there is no proposal for further disinvestment.
