No plan to raise lending rate soon: Union Bank

Union Bank of India does not plan to raise lending rates in the next one month,its chairman said.

Union Bank of India does not plan to raise lending rates in the next one month,its chairman and managing director,M.V. Nair,said on Friday,a week after India’s central bank raised interest rates.

The Reserve Bank of India,citing inflationary pressures and an improving economy,hiked key rates by 25 basis points late on Friday,a month earlier than expected,and another increase is seen at its policy review on April 20.
