No ‘meeting of minds’ on Sudarshan b’day

Former RSS chief K S Sudarshan spent a quiet birthday at the RSS’s Jhandewalan headquarters last week with his successor and incumbent RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and other top leaders of the organisation in attendance. Apart from senior leaders like Suresh Soni,and BJP leaders with RSS background like Ram Lal,a small group of swayamsevaks were present. Bhagwat’s visit to the city was keenly awaited for “another meeting of minds between the RSS leadership and the BJP leadership”. But that never happened and Bhagwat quietly slipped out of the city the next day,first to Hardwar and then to Nagpur.
