Chief Minister Arjun Munda has been invited by the Columbia University to deliver a lecture on Democratically running small states in India: The perspective of the leader on October 18. Munda leaves on October 14. From the University of Columbia,Munda will go to Toronto to attract investments,said Mundas Principal Secretary D K Tiwari.
After returning from his trip to Berlin where the state had set up a pavilion at the World Trade Fair,Munda had claimed that half a dozen investors,including Mercedes Benz,had evinced interest in setting up their plants in Jharkhand. Six months on,no investor has turned up.
A team led by Munda will participate in India Show in Toronto followed by a seminar on industry to be organised by the Canadian government on October 19.
