One big hindrance when Aamir Khan was to shoot for the item number,I hate you,was his moustache!
Khan,who had grown and groomed a mouche for Reema Kagtis film after a lot of look-tests,was not going to chop it off lest it affect the continuity of the film,as he still had some portions to shoot. Kiran was really keen that I do the song,but there were parts in the song where I had to have a clean-shaven look. After a lot of deliberation,we decided to be very careful and use some special effects to hide the mouche. And it worked out really well, revealed the actor when he unveiled the item number.
