Yash Raj Films youth films studio,Y Films has started their latest venture,Mere Dad Ki Maruti. Ashima Chibber,who has worked as first assistant director to Shimit Amin and Imtiaz Ali ,makes her directorial debut with this film. A comedy set against the backdrop of a Punjabi wedding,the film has Saqib Saleem playing the lead role while the romantic lead will be essayed by a newcomer. The film is produced by Ashish Patil. Soham Shah kickstarts his next Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevisions untitled next directed by Soham Shah and starring Sanjay Dutt,Vivek Oberoi,Humaima Mallick (of Bol fame) and Paresh Rawal has taken off in Jaipur,Rajasthan. The movie is based on the Gujarat underworld and will be shot on a start-to-finish 50 days schedule. The songs will be shot in Mumbai.The film is slated for release in December 2012. Break for Shootout At Wadala Sanjay Gupta who started shooting for his Shootout At Wadala on March 1 in various locations all over Mumbai,has now taken a break. The shooting will now resume on June 16 in Mumbai. Anil Kapoor,John Abraham,Sonu Sood,Mahesh Mangrekar and Kangana Ranaut are part of this action thriller. Lootera's schedule from May 26 The Dalhousie schedule of Lootera will take off on May 26 with Ranveer Singh,while leading lady Sonakshi Sinha will join on June 3. The 12-day shoot will be followed by another 16 days of shooting in Mumbai before Vikramaditya Motwane wraps up the shooting of the film.
