As India pushes for the UN Security Council reforms,New Delhi will be engaging the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) from Africa and Asia later this week in a two-day ministerial conference.
The conference in cooperation with the UN Office of the High Representative for Least Developed Countries,Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States will take place on February 18-19. To be attended by representatives from 48 countries,the meet is being held ahead of the fourth conference on LDCs in Turkey,May 9-13.
