LNG import dominates talks between Mathai,Burns

India’s interest in buying Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from the US dominated the discussions between Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai and the US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns on Friday.

There was a “detailed discussion” on energy-related issues including reiteration of Indian interest in LNG sales from the US,official sources said.
