Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa sacked three ministers Wednesday and replaced them with fresh faces.
Health Minister VS Vijay and School Education Minister N R Sivapathy were also removed as AIADMK secretaries of Vellore and Tiruchy,while Tourism Minister Gokula Indira was dropped as womens wing secretary and made organising secretary. All replacements are first-time MLAs. Vaigai Chelvan,who was chief whip,is Minister of School Education,Sports and Youth Welfare. TP Poonatchi is the new Khadi and Village Industries Minister while P Chendur Pandian is Tourism Minister. KC Veeramani is Health Minister.
