Tata Group’s marquee car Jaguar has been named as the numero uno brand in the UK in terms of customer satisfaction.
The ‘2012 UK Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS)’ — that covered nearly 18,000 individuals — was conducted by research firm JD Power and Associates along with ‘What Car?’ magazine,Tata Motors said in a statement.
The study took into account various factors including performance,reliability,quality,cost of ownership,dealer service satisfaction,design and comfort.
“It’s tremendous to have such customer recognition of our commitment to delivering quality,technology and a world-class ownership experience,” Jaguar Cars Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark said.
In the 2012 first quarter,Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported an over two-fold rise in net income at 696 million pounds (over Rs 6,000 crore) compared to 262 million pounds (over Rs 2,380 crore) recorded in the same period last year.
