I cannot say that in future all the roles offered to the actors will be good. As always, roles will continue to be good and bad,but the good ones will definitely be more interesting. My parts in Delhi Belly and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan prove that. However, the biggest leap is going to be in terms of the money that we will earn. I can say that by seeing the growth in the market in terms of price and sale of tickets, increase in the number of territories and wider releases in mainstream theatres across the world.

Indian stars being recognised for their work abroad is also on the upswing. Just take the case of Delhi Belly. It was for the first time that an Indian film was reviewed in The New York Times and The Washington Times! A first, but a step forward on the international scene. Still, most of our films will continue being rooted in our culture, something that I strongly endorse.

I predict a downturn when it comes to star-endorsing multiple products, Star-endorsements have been permeating in all kinds of products from bank ads to tea to oils! Bollywood has taken over everything that is being sold. I am sure very soon advertisers will be looking at other faces to sell their products.
