Shares of Hero Honda closed at Rs 1,981.20 per piece,up 17.99 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The scrip witnessed a similar jump on the National Stock Exchange to settle at Rs 1,983,up 17.92 per cent from the previous close. In terms of volume,over 76 lakh shares of the company were traded on the bourses. Meanwhile,the 30-share benchmark Sensex also ended firm at 19,888.88,up 24.03 points from previous close.
