Shares of GVK Power & Infrastructure today settled with over 7 per cent loss on the BSE,after the company reported a consolidated loss of Rs 20.88 crore for the three months ended March this year. After shedding 8.98 per cent during the day on the BSE,the stock finally ended the day 7.03 per cent lower at Rs 11.90. On the NSE,the stock slipped 5.88 per cent to Rs 12. During the day,the scrip plummeted 8.23 per cent to Rs 11.70. In terms of volume,57.64 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE,while more than 2 crore shares changed hands on the NSE. The diversified group's loss widened from Rs 14.50 crore recorded in the 2011 March quarter. The consolidated loss is after taxes,minority interest and share of associates.
