Days after the Maharashtra government said the proposed grand Shivaji statue would not be located in the sea off Marine Drive for fear of not getting environmental approvals and drew fire from opposition parties,Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan did a turnaround on Monday and assured the legislature that the statue would indeed come up in the sea as was originally planned.
