General Motors’ stock bounced back from an early slide on Friday to close just above Thursday’s closing price.
The automaker’s stock closed at $34.26,up 7 cents,or 0.2 percent.
The stock fell $1.08 to $33.11 in the first-half hour of trade Friday before investors started buying again,gradually driving it back toward Thursday’s closing price of $34.19.
The stock was traded more than 100 million times,less than one-quarter of the volume traded on Thursday.
