Copper prices recovered by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metal market due to pick-up in demand amid firming global trend. Traders said pick-up in industrial demand and a recovery in select base metals at the London Metal Exchange,mainly led to a rise in copper prices. Meanwhile,copper for three-month delivery in London climbed 0.2 per cent to $8,017.50 a tonne. In the national capital,copper mixed scrap recovered by Rs 2 to Rs 381 per kg.
