Godrej Properties launches premium residences in Pune Mumbai: Realty firm Godrej Properties has launched a premium residential project Godrej Horizon in Pune. The project,spread over 8.64 acres,consists of five towers and offers a total of 384 apartments with a mix of 2,2.5 and 3 BHK ranging from 1,137 sq ft to 2,031 sq ft. The location offers connectivity to all key areas in Pune,like MG road,Pune-Satara highway,and the Pune-Solapur highway. DLF,HUDA to invest R300 crore to develop road in Gurgaon New Delhi: The countrys largest real estate firm DLF has partnered the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) and will invest R 300 crore to develop a road in Gurgaon under a public-private partnership mode. The company has commenced the construction work of the 16-lane 8.3 kilometre road,connecting NH-8 toll plaza with the sectors 55 and 56 in Gurgaon. HUDA would invest R 220 crore. The development contract has been awarded to IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company. The road is expected to be completed in three years and would be fully integrated with the upcoming Rapid Metro system. Land deals in India to drop by 20% this year New Delhi: Hit by a demand slump in the residential sector,India is likely to witness around 25 per cent decline in land deals to around R 15,000 crore,according to realty consultant Cushman & Wakefield. The firm also said most of the land purchases would be done by regional smaller players instead of big developers. According to the firm,India had seen land deals worth R 20,000 crore in 2011,and that out of the expected transactions for the current year deals worth R 7,000-8,000 crore have already taken place. The National Capital Region and Mumbai is slated to account for 60-70 per cent of the total deals,along with some top tier I cities,the firm said and added that sales of housing units have fallen by about 30 per cent across the country in the last one year.
