With Sarovar Hotels opening their second property-Park Plaza adjoining The Taj here today,Chandigarh,the city beautiful,is fast becoming a very hot spot for hospitality sector.
Ajay K.Bakaya,Executive Director,Sarovar Hotels told here today that occupancy rate at its first property-Hometel has been ovezr 80 per cent. The city has only close to 500 room in five star properties and hence still offers huge scope for hospitality sector.
Chandigarh is fast growing as a preferred destination in addition to attracting a large number of business and leisure travelers.
