Caterina drinks 10 cans of energy to dance

Taan ke seena,ho jaa kameena is a raunchy number and will show Caterina in three different costumes. The song pictures the transformation of the actress and the background dancers in terms of their costumes. It starts with the actress wearing a saree and ends up with her in a bikini. Shot in a Mumbai studio,based in Chandivali,the set was made up like a bar situated in Bhindi Bazar,a famous place in Mumbai. “It was the director and me,who decided to have a strip-tease sequence in the film and hence we thought of coming up with this song. Actually there is a very interesting scene that happens before the song,which leads all the actors to go to this bar. So,while the song with raunchy lyrics is running in the background,we wanted to show the dancers also. And hence I thought of a dance number where Caterina is wearing a red saree which she unwraps to reveal a skirt with a slit and a golden top with a plunging neckline and later she will be seen in hot pants and a bikini top,” explains Sagar. He also added that this transformation happens in one go without any cuts where the actress changes costumes on camera,be it by unwrapping her saree into a slit skirt or by dropping her skirt and coming out in hot pants. Thus one can realise that she is stripping while she is dancing.

To make the bar look real,the team used a lot of red,blue and green lights in the background as Sagar said that bars in locations like Bhindi Bazar are not well-lit and hence,in reality too,they use a lot of lights.

Sagar also confirmed that Caterina has done a brilliant job. Sagar,who has done song direction for films like Tere Bin Laden,Phas Gaye Re Obama and has choreographed Ranjha Ranjha from Raavan is now gearing up for Jagdish Rajpurohit’s Bamboo,Guru Sharma’s Cocaine and Sanjay Mishra’s debut directorial Pranam Alaikum.
