BETHESDA: For all his accomplishments Peace Corps director,ambassador R Sargent Shriver became known first as an in-law. The brother-in-law of former president John F Kennedy and father-in-law of former California Gov Arnold Schwarzenegger died Tuesday,in Maryland. He was 95 and suffered from Alzheimers.

KABUL: An assailant sprayed acid in the face of a Afghan journalist in what officials say is retaliation for his political writing. Razaq Momoon said he was walking near his house in Kabul when a man ran up behind him and threw acid in his face.
