Boyance Infra sells Karur Vysya shares

Boyance Infrastructure sold 5.5 lakh shares of Karur Vysya Bank for about Rs 21 cr.

Boyance Infrastructure today sold 5.5 lakh shares of private-sector lender Karur Vysya Bank for about Rs 21 crore through an open market transaction.

In a bulk deal,Boyance Infrastructure offloaded 5,50,034 shares (amounting to 0.51 per cent stake) in Karur Vysya Bank for Rs 380 apiece,valuing the deal at Rs 20.90 crore,according to data available with the stock exchanges.

However,the identity of the buyer(s) of the shares could not be ascertained.

At the end of the December,2011 quarter,Boyance Infrastructure held 40.62 lakh shares,or 3.79 per cent,stake in the banking entity.

Shares of Karur Vysya Bank closed today at Rs 386 apiece on the BSE,down 0.26 per cent from the previous close.
