The RSS and BJP leaders on Wednesday held a closed-door meeting to work out plans to deal with all scenarios that may arise after the judgment in Ayodhya title suit,which is just days away.
The underlining message from the Sangh,sources said,was the need to maintain restraint even in the face of an adverse verdict.
BJP chief Nitin Gadkari and senior party leaders held consultations with RSS top brass led by its chief Mohan Bhagwat. The RSS,it is learnt,was of the view that the BJPs reaction should be in consonance with its ideological position,which favours a Ram temple,but at the same time,caution should be exercised to ensure comments by its leaders are not inflammatory.
