Immediately after Kejriwals speech at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Hall here,a small procession of about 10-odd protesters belonging to Yuwa Ghantanaad organisation waved black flags outside the venue and even shouted slogans. Charged up by Kejriwals speech,the crowd of Anna supporters started assaulting the peaceful protesters. Two of them were beaten up while one of them had his shirt ripped off. Finally,the police managed to rescue the protesters from Anna supporters. Later the police detained two Ghantanaad activists,Gaurav Shelke and Vikram Sangamwar,None of the assailants,however,was arrested. Ghantanaad is a decades-old organisation that protests against injustice by ringing a bell.
