The Andhra Pradesh government, worried to ensure a smooth world bio-diversity meet on October 1,Friday gave four-hour permission for the Telangana march on September 30 but warned that disruption of law and order would be dealt with seriously.
The government was also pressed to give the nod after the Telangana Joint Action Committee alleged it was behaving in an undemocratic manner for trying to suppress a legitimate demand to take out a protest rally. State police chief V Dinesh Reddy, however, warned protesters not to disturb law and order.
TJAC,on the other hand, said they were not bound by the rules and regulations of the permission granted.
