But what pains the most is the fact that the terrorists have been there for more than 48 hours now. Why couldn’t we stop them? The whole nation demands better security from the government.”

We are all directly or indirectly hurt by the tragedy which is by far the biggest, the longest and the deadliest that India has ever faced. We hope it is the last though. But our hopes can materialise only when the government understands the need to be practical and stops being a soft state when it comes to anti-terror policy. The police and the intelligence need to be strengthened and coordinated in their effort to tackle terror.”

We are scared but we should use this fear to scare them and nip them in the bud.
