England is getting better and better with every match but unless the batsmen start hitting hundreds, they stand no chance of bouncing back in the series, said captain Kevin Pietersen.Baffled by the miniscule number of English batsmen managing tons in the sub-continent, Pietersen said, "I really don't know, that's definitely something England cricket can work on. I mean we played in India years after years it's only six or nine England batsmen who got centuries in the sub-continent.""In India you need to get big runs, when you get in you need big hundreds. In the three games we have played, Yuvraj Singh has got two hundreds. We need to improve that. We knew coming to India, we need to score hundreds to be competitive and hopefully in the next four games we'll go for it," he said.Pietersen admitted it's probably too late to bounce back in the seven-match series which his team trail 0-3 but felt his side was gradually improving."We certainly are getting close to it, aren't we? If we had a full game today, I think we would have taken it close. We got that stumping in the end and a couple of more wickets and we would have come up trumps today," he said."We put a lot of pressure and there was aggression among the players today. Bowlers were fantastic today. "If we get the start, we have to score hundreds to be competitive in the rest of the series but it looks stiff at the moment," he said.
