PATNA, JULY 2: A special court today asked the Rashtriya Janata Dal president Laloo Prasad Yadav to surrender by July 27 and issued arrest warrant against former chief minister Jagannath Mishra after taking cognizance of the charge-sheet in yet another conspiracy case of fodder scam.

The designated CBI judge, S K Lal rejected a batch of petitions filed on behalf of Mishra and others accused in the case. The court issued notices for surrender by July 27 to Yadav, and his three former Cabinet colleagues, Bholaram Toofani, Vidya Sagar Nishad (both RJD MLAs) and C P Verma.
