The police have arrested a person, who after casting his vote, poured some oil on the electronic voting machine EVM and set it ablaze at a polling station in Biltara Assembly segment on Thursday evening. Chief Electoral Officer Alok Shukla said Ramcharan Suryavanshi, a voter at Baadi polling station in Biltara, was immediately arrested. He added that polling was not hampered as the machine was replaced.
