Chennai, May 30: Information technology major Wipro, who have been taking special interest in chess in the recent times, announced that World under-18 champion and Wipro chess ambassadors Aarthie Ramaswamy and International Master Pendyla Harikrishna will be given one month extensive coaching by Super Grandmaster Evegeny Vladimirov of Kazakhstan during a press conference on Tuesday. The camp will take place from June 15 to July 14 at Bangalore. Sorokin to coach: Wipro will also be sponsoring a 30-day coaching camp for 30 chess players which seems to be the first time in Indian chess history.Maxim Sorokin, Argentine Grandmaster and coach for Argentine national team for the last three years will be the coach for five Indian gold medalists in the recently concluded Asian age-group championship at Teheran and top 3 players in both girls and boys in under-10, 12, 14, 16 and 18.Abhinav Mekhala, Sowmya Swaminathan, Tania Sachdev, VK Sindhu, RS Prasanna and Nabeela Farheen are some of the players taking part in the camp scheduled to be held from June 15 to July 14 at Calicut.RB Ramesh, International Master and one of the talented juniors in the country and current coach of Aarthie Ramaswamy was confident about Aarthie making further progress. ``She is a tremendous hardworker. I'm confident that Aarthie will win the National women championship and improve further,'' said Ramesh and thanked Wipro for their support.Aarthie, who will be participating in the upcoming National Women Championship at Mumbai from (June 6) and taking part in the British Championship and Mind Sports Olympiad in August looked relaxed and confident. ``I'm confident of doing well in the Nationals. I hope to become WGM in one year's time.''
