Bangera stars

A fine knock by opener Manish Bangera (70, 8×4) was instrumental in Bombay Gymkhana’s first innings win over PJ Hindu Gymkhana in the first round of the BICHIP under-22 cricket tournamnet sponsored by Oriental Ships and conducted by Bombay Gymkhana at Azad Maidan.

The other league match between Catholic Gymkhana and Parsee Gymkhana ended in draw as first innings was not completed.

Brief scores: PJ Hindu Gymkhana 224 and 74-1 (Yogesh Kaudhare not out 49) lost to Bombay Gymkhana 241 (Manish Bangera 70; Aakash Sarawal 4-62) on first innings lead.
