MUMBAI, OCTOBER 11: Defending champion Varsha Majmudar of Maharashtra and M Chitra of Karnataka made the quarter-final grade of the second CCI Invitational Women's Snooker Tournament at the CCI, on Wednesday.In their last Group-A round-robin matches, Varsha ousted Meenal Thakur of Maharashtra 3-1. Varsha, who had beaten Judith Walia of Karnataka yesterday, defeated Meenal 66-41, 64-4, 25-45, 67-11. She had a break of 27 in the second frame. M Chitra managed to squeeze through as the fourth player from her group. Meenal and her team-mate Neeta Sanghvi also made it to the last-eight stage bagging the third and second spots, respectively.The qualifiers in Group-B have not yet been spotted.
