Minor raped
A four-year-old girl of Jambusar was raped by an unidentified person at a wedding ceremony on Monday night, the police said. The victim is undergoing treatment in the SSG hospital, the police added. The hospital police has registered a case and is investigating.

Vehicle thefts
Six cases of vehicle thefts were registered in various places of the city, the police said. While two motorcycles (GJ-6-FF 2742) (GBV 7538) were stolen from IPCL township and Usha Kiran Building respectively, a petrol tanker (GJ-6-6518) was stolen from Motinagar, two scooters (GJ-6-GG-2973) (MH-16-A-1391) were lifted from Kamal building and Fortune Towers respectively and a moped (GJ-6-FF 7823) was stolen from Nyaya Mandir, the police added. Cases have been registered in respective police stations.

Boy missing
Eleven-year-old, Dharmesh, residing at Ashoka Apartments near Dinesh Mills, is missing, the police said. He was wearing a white shirt and cream pant, when he was last seen on April 24 evening, the police added. The police is investigating the case.

Theft
A handbag, containing Rs 28,336, driving licence and vehicle papers, kept on front seat of a Maruti car GJ-AA-6966 was stolen by three unidentified people, the police said. When the owner of the car, R C Chetre, got down from the vehicle near the Canara Bank leaving his bag on the front seat, three bystanders told him that his money had fallen below the car. When he bent down to look for it, one of them picked up the bag lying in the car and all ran away. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
