CHENNAI, July 22: The TN government has signed an MoU with the Harvard Institute for International Development, Cambridge, Massachusetts for undertaking a policy research programme on the economic reforms in the State. The three major areas that would be covered under the programme include development of the State as a major platform for export-oriented manufacturing and reforms of the state public sector enterprises, development of ports, roads, telecommunications, social and health projects and finally the choice of TN as the frontier for development in the next 5 years.
